troitsa is an experimental work by Primary Substance, Vladislav Nogin and Electrosky. Its concept is based on EVP (electronic voice phenomenon) and electroacoustic qualities of the outdoor environment.

The album has been recorded completely ad hoc. To create texts, we used everything that surrounded us from a conversation with a taxi driver and materials in online EVP research communities to an attempt to talk to the elevator’s voice assistant. The sound of the release is based on a multiple consequential remixing of tracks, usage of field and household recordings, radio noises recorded on Karelian swamps and telephone network test recordings.
