This live jam was recorded before the “Троица” album presentation at Somatik Fest 17/10/2021.

“Троица” (“Trinity”) is a new experimental work by Primary Substance, Vladislav Nogin and Electrosky. Its concept is based on EVP (electronic voice phenomenon) and electroacoustic qualities of the outdoor environment.

The album has been recorded completely ad hoc. To create texts, we used everything that surrounded us from a conversation with a taxi driver and materials in online EVP research communities to an attempt to talk to the elevator’s voice assistant. The sound of the release is based on a multiple consequential remixing of tracks, usage of field and household recordings, radio noises recorded on Karelian swamps and telephone network test recordings.

“Троица” - новая экспериментальная работа от Primary Substance, Владислава Ногина и Electrosky. Концептуально основанная на исследованиях в области ЭГФ (электронного голосового феномена) и электроакустических свойств внешней среды.

К записи альбома мы подходили абсолютно ситуативно. Создавая тексты, использовали все, что нас окружало: от разговора с таксистом и материалов из сообществ ЭГФ-исследователей до попытки выстраивать диалог с лифтом, произносившим номера этажей. Звучание релиза построено на многократном последовательном ремикшировании треков, использовании полевых и бытовых студийных записей. Радиошумов, записанных на карельских болотах, и аудиофайлов, полученных в процессе тестирования телефонных сетей.
